Indian Saree

Saree is the most popular and widely worn ladies dress in India. Sari is commonly worn by Indian ladies in all regions in India. Sari also has become a party-wear dress. Saree is traditional and feminine dress which has been worn by the Indian ladies for centuries ago. Still, Sari is considered as a perfect dress for women for different occasions like marriages, festivals and birth of a child. From Hindu literature it is depicted from the paintings, Saree were used by so many ancient legendary figures like Radha, during the time of lord Krishna Draupati in Mahabarata.

Wedding is a very important part of Indian traditions and so is the clothing. In a country like India, where you have a confluence of different religions and traditions, sari stands out as an important wedding attire bringing the much desired synergy.

Bollywood Sarees

The term Bollywood Sarees has been coined after combining two most popular Indian items – the saree and Bollywood. Sari is the national dress of India, while Bollywood is the name given to the Indian film industry. Both are extremely popular. Where saree is the essential dress of the Indian woman, Bollywood films are a craze among the masses in India.

Silk Sari

Taj Mahal, spicy food and silk sarees, some of the many things that the world remembers India for. Indian silk is one of its kinds and so are the delicately woven silk sarees. They are beautiful and gorgeous when worn. Silk in India is produced by a distinct variety of silk worms and there are four varieties of silk. Silk saree weavers have earned a lot of accolades around the world for the finesses they have and the kind of masterpieces they create with a fabric as delicate as silk. Some of the famous varieties of silk sarees are- Kanchipuram silk sarees, Pocchampally silk sarees, Bandhini, Banarasi silk, Ikkat and Patola and Thanchoi saris. These have earned place in the wardrobe of some of the most beautiful women in the world and they also continue to dress the traditional Indian women.
